All the Angel and Saints
Q & A Continued

I started writing early the next Monday morning, and, after fits and starts lasting ten years, concluded with the 470-page story that is now All the Angels and Saints.

(2)  Has the Catholic Church made any kind of comment on your book?

Not officially. But I know three priests, and two deacons, who have read the book, and my reviews from all five have been most encouraging. One priest even asked if he could play a role in the movie version ….

On a more somber note, I would like to mention that the Oklahoma City Archdiocese is currently sponsoring Father Stanley Rother for sainthood. Father Rother was, ironically, murdered in 1981 while serving his mission in Guatemala. Regrettably I did not know of Father Rother until after All the Angels and Saints was published. If I had, I would have asked members of his family for permission to include a much-deserved reference to his sacrifice in my book. I wish those who are involved in his canonization process Godspeed, and every success.
